You must show a government issued photo ID at time of packet pick up. Participants may have a friend or family member pick up their packet; however, they must have a copy of the participant’s government issued photo ID (paper or electronic).

Once you have passed the entrance gate make an immediate right, Follow the road about a half a mile to a fork in the road and make a left (where the lake ends), continue straight for a quarter mile then make a left and go over the bridge.

10K Starts 7:00am (check-in time starts at 6:00am) in wave start times
7:00am ORANGE wristbands
7:15am YELLOW wristbands
7:30am RED wristbands
5K Starts at 7:40am in wave start times
7:40am BLUE wristbands
7:55am GREEN wristbands
8:10am no wristbands
*Wave start times will be assigned during Packet Pick up. Therefore, the earlier you get your packet the earlier you will start. Runners who pick up packets on race day will be assigned to the later waves of the either 10K or 5K.
FLAG WARNING SYSTEM
There will be a simple flag color system along the course to help warn participants of weather or course related problems. Green- Everything is Normal Yellow- The heat index is at a point that runners/walkers should slow down and drink plenty of water Red- Dangerous weather. Runners and walkers should slow down and take plenty of water. Timing of the event has stopped and no awards will be given out at this time. Black- race has been cancelled due to extreme weather or course emergency. Events such as lightening, tornado or human disaster have or are occurring and all participants need to seek shelter immediately. How do I know if the flag is changed? There will be 2 short air horn blasts every 30 seconds at the water station to notify runners the flags have changed

Unsportsmanlike Conduct: This is a fun friendly atmosphere, verbal abuse to any race official or volunteer during the event by a child or parent at any time during the event weekend will result in immediate removal of the event
